Thanks for your interest in the 传播学院 (SOC).
The SOC was established in 1975 and is one of the oldest communication programs among the nation's HBCUs and the first in Houston.
今天, the SOC has transformed into an interdisciplinary academic school with four departments and two graduate programs: 沟通研究 (COMM); 娱乐 Recording Industry Management (ERIM); 新闻 (JOUR); Radio, 电视, and 电影 (RTF); and Master of Arts in Communication (MA) and Master of Arts in Professional Communication and 数字媒体(PCDM).
